Painted Circle is an Original Oil and Acrylic painting by Jamie Sinclair. The painting shows a very heavily pregnant African Painted Dog, who after a long day of running with the pack has reached the end of her energy. Knowing she is close to giving birth she made the decision to not push on further to their den but to bed down and find a good spot to give birth. The image this painting was taken from was taken by talented photographer Matt Akister who was a game keeper in Africa for many years.
